I'm a mother, business owner (www.monkeyboyclothing.com), composer, photographer - creator. I'm a member of a very rockin group of ladies called the Omaha Craft Mafia (www.omahacraftmafia.com) and love to create in many capacities in my 'free time'. I am an advocate of fair trade and in promoting honesty, love and kindness to others in ethical business practice, personal life and recreation. I like to post findings on those topics, as well as little pieces of my vast array of interests on my blog - bellouccello.typepad.com.

The reason I photograph is to capture things I might not otherwise remember...or to preserve a moment or visual that might otherwise fade into the past. I love the use of light and how it breaths life into the tiny spaces...and also the manipulation of photos through transfer, lift and adhering them to objects to create a totally new aesthetic. My passion for pictures far surpasses my abilities, but one day, they might meet somewhere in the middle. In the meantime, enjoy!
